BSG Vid: "The Humans Are Dead" by Flight of the Conchords (aka, total and complete crack)

Summary: Complete crack!vid where the Cylons brag about wiping out all the humans.

Vidder's note: This is a live audio track so my apologies for the audience laughter and background noise (I scrubbed it as much as I could without losing the band's vocals!).

This is the vid that has been eating my brain for most of the summer! I give all credit for the idea to [info]wisteria_ , because I couldn't think of vidding anything else as soon as she mentioned the idea of using this song for a BSG vid. I also owe big time creative credit to both [info]nebakanezer and [info]dionusia for feeding my vidding muse with clip ideas and feedback. Thanks everyone!

I know! Those lyrics are perfect! (There was some extra dialogue at the beginning originally about elephants and other random stuff that _did not_ work, so I cut it down *g*).

First of all I'm freaking out because absolutely none of your posts were on my f-list, not your LJ, bsg_crack or galactica_vids *frets* If wisteria hadn't recced it, I would've missed it *cries*

What an awesome, hilarious crack vid!!! So fantastic. I'd never heard the song before so I was highly amused at the lyrics. And your comic timing with clips was so great :)

You always make superb vids *envies* and your crack vids are possibly the best. Loved it :)

You should totally check the band out--they're two New Zealanders now living in New York and they've got an HBO comedy series. Pricelessly funny. I've got a bunch of their clips saved on my YouTube.
